Maybe you have tried therapy, self help books or talking to loved ones, yet you feel like nothing is getting better. I have been in your shoes. I remember searching online for answers that would explain what happened or show me how to lead a normal life. Every website suggested a new type of therapy, a book to read, an exercise routine or any number of things that left me feeling more dejected and condemned to misery. It all felt so clinical and impersonal. All I wanted was for one person to say, "I have been through the fire, but I found a way out and now I am healed." As time went on, I began to loose hope that I would ever find that. I just needed to see one person find life after the abuse. One person who figured out how to feel normal again. Then the unthinkable happened. 15 years of suffering from CPTSD from childhood sexual abuse and rape ended overnight. In that moment I realized my purpose for existence, to be that person for you and anyone else trying to make sense of the hurt they experienced. Since that moment I have desired to create a community for those seeking healing. If any of this feels relatable, please explore this website and feel free to contribute as you feel comfortable. The worst lie we can buy in this life is the lie that we are alone. You are not alone. You are cherished, you are loved and you belong. Do not settle for being a victim and do not settle for being a survivor. If you feel like all you can manage is surviving, then this community is for you. You can become victorious over your trauma. I know that for a fact, because I have been through the fire, but I found a way out and now I am healed.
